What if I had to make a claim?
Call AVEA on 1800 999 977 and speak to one of our friendly claims staff who will guide you through the claims process, or simply download one of the claim forms
below and submit within 30 days of the incident, with full particulars of the incident including details of any party who may be responsible.
A quotation can be obtained from your nearest Network Accredited Repairer. For more details on your nearest repairer call 1800 999 977 to speak to an AVEA Claims
Consultant.
When making a claim on our other insurance products, please contact a AVEA Claims Consultant, or refer to the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) provided with
your policy.
Important points for you to consider:
- Take all reasonable steps to prevent or minimise further loss, damage or liability.
- Provide AVEA with all additional information and help which AVEA may reasonably require to process your claim, for example obtaining your driving or criminal
history when requested.
- Assist AVEA to recover in your name any amount paid by AVEA to you from the person who caused you to suffer the loss or damage.
- Provide AVEA with an opportunity to inspect any loss or damage before you have repairs carried out.
- Assist with any investigation of the circumstances of any claim.
What happens if a claim is made against me?
Contact AVEA as soon as possible if a claim is made against you. Do not admit, deny or negotiate any claim with any person without AVEA s prior consent or
approval.
What should I do if my car has been stolen or vandalised?
Notify AVEA and the Police immediately if your motor vehicle is stolen or maliciously or intentionally damaged.
